Editorial Policy
Editorial policy
Layer Zero separates manufacturer data, third-party or community sources, and editorial questions. Evidence is specification research, not completed hands-on research.
Manufacturer data
Dimensions, advertised speeds, temperatures, part lists, and compatibility statements as published by sellers.
Third-party and community sources
Manuals, standards referenced in articles, user reports, and forum consensus when cited.
Editorial questions
Questions applied to those sources, such as fit, ventilation, tuning burden, maintenance access, and replacement part availability.
Evidence status: specification research only. Claims are not verified by hands-on testing or certified measurement.
Source use standards
- State whether a claim comes from a seller, a third-party source, or editorial analysis.
- Contrast advertised speeds with practical volumetric flow limits and cooling constraints when relevant.
- Highlight ventilation, enclosure, and indoor safety realities for resin printers and ABS or ASA-capable setups.
- State whether replacement parts are proprietary or open-source commodity items.
Corrections
- Errors are corrected after the source is checked.
- Corrections reflect the available evidence and may note remaining uncertainty.
- No article claims an audit, certification, or independent verification that did not occur.
